The Scenic Hotel Southern Cross will once again be a hive of activity as the event headquarters for this year’s Otago Rally, from May 8 to 10.

The announcement comes with confirmation that Scenic Hotels, Suites and Resorts will again be the event’s accommodation partner.

Based in the heart of Dunedin, and just a few hundred metres from the Octagon, the Scenic Hotel Southern Cross has been the official event headquarters for many years.

The popular hotel provides quality accommodation for the rally’s competitors, officials and visitors to the city, as well as ample space for the rally’s command and media centre, and for the pre-event dinner.

The rally will start outside the hotel on Saturday morning (May 9).

The pre-event dinner will be held at the hotel on the Thursday evening (May 7), with a two-course meal at just $60 per head. The night will include the chance to meet many of the event’s leading drivers, both from New Zealand and overseas.
