New Zealand Champion, David Holder, holds a slender 16.7 second lead after the opening day of the DriveSouth Otago Rally, round one of the Brian Green Property Group New Zealand Rally Championship.

Over 50 cars will line up for this weekend’s Stadium Cars International Classic Rally of Otago, headed by last year’s winner and former World Rally Championship star, Markko Martin.

New Zealand Rally Champion David Holder headlines a record field of 132 cars in this year’s DriveSouth International Otago Rally, to be held on April 8 and 9.

The 2017 Otago Rally has so far received over 130 entries, including 51 in the opening round of the New Zealand Rally Championship (NZRC).
